Mr. Edwards is currently the Chairman of The Board for ARC and Adjunct Staff Apologist specializing in Creation and Science issues. Along with his wife Patricia, they moved to Birmingham, Al in August 2009 to support their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. They also have a twin daughter who resides in Merrill’s Inlet, SC. Previously, the Edwards resided in Lakeland, Florida for 40 years where Mr. Edwards was an ordained deacon at Covenant Presbyterian Church, PCA for over 20 years.

Mr. Edwards attended the Cambridge Study Center from 2003-2008 and joined the faculty for the 2008-2009 school year where he taught a Christian worldview of science curriculum. The Edwards are now members of Oak Mtn. PCA in Birmingham. Mr. Edwards received a BS degree in geology from Florida State University and currently holds Florida Professional Geologist #601 registration. Mr. Edwards sold his geology and environmental engineering consulting business in 2001 and began volunteer service at Lighthouse Ministries (men, women and children homeless shelter) as Learning Center Tutor and Board Member. He also served as Board Member for A Woman’s Choice, a crisis pregnancy anti-abortion ministry also in Lakeland.
