Rev. Jim Shaw has been with ARC since 2011. He is the former director of a classical Christian school serving at-risk and low-income students in Bessemer, Alabama. His particular focuses are in the areas of Christian Ethics and Cultural Apologetics. In addition to counseling individuals, Jim regularly speaks and teaches on matters relating to the homosexual agenda and “gay marriage;” the church’s response to illegal immigration; post-modernism and relativism; church and state and numerous other subjects – a listing can be found in our Cultural Apologetics track. Jim received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, and the Master of Divinity from Birmingham Theological Seminary. He is an ordained Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church of America.
Jim and his wife Brook have been married for sixteen years and they have three children.
