Apologetics Resource Center

The Apologetics Resource Center is about the process of understanding the times and the alien philosophies opposed to God’s truth, as well as understanding and effecting the antidote of both knowing God’s truth and being the truth in our home, neighborhood, and culture. Now is the time for the Church to be served a wake up call, to be motivated, equipped and deployed into our world as radical change agents, redemptively as salt and light.

Calling Evil Good By Robert D. Orr, M.D. Jennie was only forty-eight when she found the breast lump.  The surgeon had been hopeful, but the pathology report showed the cancer was very aggressive and had already spread to the lymph nodes. Radiation and chemotherapy were completed; everyone wished for the best, hoping and waiting. Sadly, […]

Counterpoint: Puzzling Over Global Warming Alarmism

By Paul A. Cleveland It puzzles me why so many people, often very well educated, have bought into global warming alarmism hook, line, and sinker. As an economist, I have been skeptical of such doom – saying throughout my career and I see nothing in the current campaign to political action that convinces me that […]

Peering Through a Glass Darkly the Problem of Evil

Author: Steven B. Cowan – Responding to the Philosophical Problem of Evil The problem of evil is no doubt the most serious challenge to belief in God. Even religious believers find it troubling that evil exists in the world—and so much evil!  It is puzzling, to say the least, that an all-powerful, absolutely good being […]

The Resurrection of Jesus Hoax or History?

Author: Steven B. Cowan – “And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.” (1 Cor. 15:14, NIV) The Apostle Paul hinged everything on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As he said in 1 Corinthians 15, the truth and meaningfulness of the Christian faith rest on this event. […]

Has Postmodernism Killed Truth?

By Craig Branch – About 30 years ago a pastor named Frank Barker was sharing the gospel with me, and he told me it was necessary that I both accept the gospel of grace and that I needed to repent (surrender my will and life to the Lord Jesus Christ). At that second condition, I […]
