Description
When most people hear of the “Health and Wealth” gospels, it sometimes is dismissed as simply “faith gone awry.” However, once the surface is uncovered, there are many essential Biblical doctrines that have been distorted by the Word-Faith teachers. Some of these include: God being a man, Jesus being just a man on earth, and man being “little god.” Also, Jesus, at the cross, takes on the nature of Satan and has to be born again from the pit of hell three days after he had already declared, “It is finished”. Most of these teachings are all too often covered up by the surface layers of “health and wealth”. In this issue of the Areopagus Journal, which is a comparison issue to Volume 3, Number 6- Healthy Wealthy and Wise?, authors Bowman, Cowan and Hux reveal these distortions from a Biblical perspective.
